Our story

The Mountain Restaurant has been a family owned restaurant since it opened its doors in the spring of 1984. Since then it has been transformed from a buffet style restaurant into a table service casual dining establishment. The Yuh family owns, and operates the Mountain Restaurant, Javalanche Cafe, and Lake Louise Shell.

Here in Lake Louise, a tourist destination located in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, we cater to a wide range of guests. We offer priceless views, and amazing comfort food to keep you going for the day ahead or to enjoy on a nice evening out. Our customers staying in town take advantage of the many outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, or white water rafting. Others only stop here for a bite to remember.
